Be A Man Summer BBQ

Our Be A Man group will be hosting a summer BBQ on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:00 pm at Sacred Heart Parish in Paris.

We are pleased to welcome Evan Nohara as our guest speaker. Evan is a Word on Fire contributor and author. He graduated from Franciscan University with a degree in psychology, served as a police officer for six years, and later moved into the private tech sector.

Evan writes from a Catholic perspective and focuses on faith, freedom, self-defense, and human potential.

We often think of our faith as something we practice on Sundays. But living our faith every day brings a much deeper challenge, especially when we are faced with suffering, crisis, or tragedy.

Evan knows this firsthand. As a former OPP officer, he lived through the horror of watching a friend and partner die from a gunshot wound. In that moment, the response could have been anger, bitterness, or despair. Instead, Evan leaned on his Catholic faith to survive and move forward.

We invite all men to join us for this evening of faith, fraternity, burgers, and good conversation.
